The Mission:

Brunch Ministries provides informed biblical teaching and resources with practical application for the journey of life. The Brunch Ministries mantra: Come hungry, leave hungrier (for God’s Word).

The Dish:

“Brunch Ministries” came about its name when founder Courtney Veasey came into a life season that felt “in between”: too old for some certain enjoyments and role of her past, yet still too young for others yet to come. Labeling this season as being like “brunch” somehow made the situation better, because after all, who doesn’t like brunch? Then Courtney realized how this concept could be more purposefully utilized in expressing one of her favorite teachings from Jesus and the passion behind her ministry of teaching Scripture.

Jesus taught, “When you give a luncheon or a dinner, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbors, lest they also invite you in return, and repayment come to you. *But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed, since they do not have the means to repay you; for you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous,” (Luke 14:12-14). Whether for an actual banquet, or the provision of a feast of well prepared biblical teaching and ministry resources, through Brunch Ministries, Courtney desires to extend an invitation and expand the table to especially seat those who otherwise might not have a place.

So, welcome to brunch, friends, we look forward to serving you!

Whether on a field, court, mountain, or lake, Courtney loves playing and following a variety of sports. She also enjoys playing guitar and writing songs and other poetry. Above all, Courtney is passionately in love with Jesus, and lives by her life verse of 1 Corinthians 15:10, “For by the grace of God, I am what I am, and His grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.”
